Google Contact Sync
The current method of adding contacts from an external service is nice. We get direct up-to-date info from our connected service.
But is there any way to sync that data afterwards? Even just 1-way sync?
Example: I use google contacts for managing my main contacts. First I add a gmail contact to a podio project. Then I add additional contact data in gmail. I would like that additional data to show up in Podio. Is this possible?
2 - way sync would be even better. But for now we can just avoid editing contacts in Podio.
Also, the previous discussion "Adding contacts from Google Contacts" mysteriously disappeared... (https://help.podio.com/entries/21648283)

Hey Alexander,
Not possible at the moment I'm afraid, I agree it would be good and a 2-way sync would of course be even better but currently not possible.
About the mysteriously disappearing article, we have hidden it since the information in it now is inactual and would only confuse a lot of people. We will get a new article up with the new information, so we can continue the discussion there.

Hey Roger,
You can still pick contacts from Google via any contact field, maybe this is what you have done?

Hi, I am currently using Solve360 which has 2 way Google sync. I am ready for a more advance CRM system and Podio seems like a great fit, but without this, I will be unable to switch. I hope your development team makes this a high priority since many of us don't want to manage multiple contact lists.
