Hey Barry, the easy answer is that you can't change the colors of Podio.

Read more about whitelabeling here: https://help.podio.com/entries/22572416-can-i-have-a-white-label-version-of-podio.

There is a way to do this: If you and all users of your podio account are willing to add a browser extension, then customization is possible. Google for "Userscripts" in general or have a look at http://userscripts.org/scripts/review/162361 as an example. You can contact me, if you need support.

Ouch - we can't change the colors by design? Erm...I know branding is important, but what about effectively blind folks? Can we get a little help with a per-account "highly visible" option that enhances contrast, at least?

I also work on design, and even if I didn't, i would still find Podio's colour palette painfully blinding for everyday, full time use.

I use Stylish user styles to change colors in lots of websites, including Wikipedia and Google Translate, and so far it has worked great for me.

Here you can find a user style for Podio:

It does not take out the annoying white/grey, but at least it darkens the bars. And someone with spare time could even make a darker one.

I agree that the default setting is too limiting. Podio is so powerful in other ways - why is changing colour so hard to do? It's not about having a "white label" product. It's our personal office that we go in everyday.

Agree that something needs to be done (choice of themes?). After a few weeks of tinkering, we finally have Podio tuned to our needs, but now I'm getting a lot of internal push-back, because nobody can stand looking at the screens for any extended period of time.

More contrast or darker background when items are clicked on. Maybe different colors for different apps. So much white it is brutal. Everything is low contrast and similar font weight. Hard to read all the data. Please .....please fix

I agree with this. I have good vision but the color scheme of Podio is really making my eyes hurt. If they do not want to change  the color, at least give more contrast and definition to the elements.

Is this still NOT a feature?!

A quick workaround for those using chrome is the Dark Reader extension.

Gustav Jonsson I read the article explaining why this is not a feature of Podio, however I wonder if there are any current or future plans to address this for podio users since your comment. The issue I was having with the interface had more to do with employees who had difficulty reading the small font sizes used in the default interface. It would also be nice to be able to customize individual items with headers, columns, dividers etc to make interacting with items with lots of fields less overwhelming.
