Tasks within an App Entry (right hand column)

#1 Sort Order of Tasks 

What is the sort order of tasks associated within an app entry? (when you are inside the entry and the tasks all show up on the right hand column)? Is it by created data, oldest first (it seems to be) - is that accurate? Is there a way to change this default order? Ideally I would like to push all completed tasks to the bottom or (see below) be able to hide or filter completed tasks.

 

#2 Hiding Completed Tasks 

Within the same view (inside the app entry, right hand column) Is there any way to hide completed tasks? We are using a podio app for task management and on some projects this list gets very long and having to scroll down through 30 completed tasks seems unneccessary

Just wondering if there was an easy solution.

    I would like to know this.  I rely heavily on auto created tasks, and this is a mess in  Podio currently.  We use Podio for project management at the moment, but I'm losing the battle to keep it.

    I agree.  With many of the issues like this, I'm losing a foothold on selling this to our org as THE platform for getting us connected and getting more things out of email and organized.

    • 1: it would be great to be able to sort "manually" the order to the tasks on the right side... many times we use tasks without "dates", but somehow ordering them "manually" to define "how we want to tackle them" would be very good!

    I'm adding my vote to hide completed tasks within the app or at least change the sort due to all the scrolling we do too. I'm surprised I'm not seeing more about this from other users.

    I just came on looking for this answer - how to hide completed tasks. Any movement on this? It's very cumbersome and distracting for us. We also don't have the time to open each task and delete it one-by-one, which is the only way I see to get rid of them at this point.

    Hey all,

    Thanks for your feedback and input. To work-around this issue I will recommend using a deliverables/task app - this can help you prioritise tasks better and hide completed tasks from the filtered relationship view.

    Good ideas for future improvements in Podio :)
