Reports - Why Only On Some Apps?

In Podio, we not only have limited fields sets on what we can collect, but even more the reporting functions appear to be very limited in the few apps that have them.

Some of the apps sort and layout the reports in ways that aren't helpful for us, so how can these be tweaked  or is there a report builder.  I'm not a developer, so using the API to build or filter isn't an option for me.

Maybe I have missed something, but leveraging this data and it's field sets seem pretty limited here.
