Is it possible to view every task across the organisation?

I'd like to know if it is possible to get an overview of all the tasks (not just my own) across the organization. At the moment I can view all tasks by going into each individual workspace. I can also view all of my own tasks across all workspaces. What I can't seem to do is view all users tasks across all workspaces

    Are there perhaps any workarounds that would allow this functionality? It would be great to get an answer to this. Having an overview of whats tasks all our staff are working on (from within the one area) is a standard part of our company resourcing processes.

    As an alternative, you can use an app for your tasks instead. Each app item is a "task", and then you can use app referencing to attach those tasks to other apps. That way, you can just go to the app to get an overall view of the tasks in your organization, and you can also view a list of all tasks assigned to specific items. 

    Does that make sense?

    @Jacquelyn In that way the task system would not be so nicely interated into Podio as the original task system is. 

    I would also want to see all tasks of a workspace or the whole organisation. Shouldn't be that difficult to implement. In the task menu on the top could be more options to filter the tasks exept for "my tasks" and the delegated tasks.

    OK I just saw that I can see all tasks of a workspace from the activity feed of the workspace :)

    But there is no way to get there from the main task menu ... Anyway I'm happy so far!

    This would be very helpful for our org too.   I'm in a partnership currently and we really do need to be able to see what the other person has assigned to themselves, so we can keep track of who is doing what.

    Certainly a stopgap would be to add both names every time we create a task, just so we can see them all, but then it will make it very difficult to remember who is actually responsible for what.  And when we eventually add more employees, this will not be an ideal solution.

    I love Podio but have you ever seen how Basecamp treats the Tasks functionality??  It does exactly that.  It lists tasks that can be assigned and due date just like podio; however you are able to view it not just by project but by person across projects.  It's very helpful for managers to track how things are moving along within their group and see who is doing what and know if things are being handled.

    Daniel that looks cool, but is there a way to view this from within podio? or add a button inside podio to take you to it?

    it really dont understand why this isnt incorporated into podio, it seems like it should be a standard feature

    Currently it's not possible to view this within Podio - though we could make it as a browser extension and show it when you are logged into Podio for example. 

    You can easily create a widget with a link to this task view - then it's just one click away.

    Although I don't like to have 3rd party app to do such a simple and basic thing, yet when I go to  http://podiotasks.phases.dk it just shows my own tasks and even in member section on the right it shows only me! not any other members...

    is it really something that Podio doesn't have built-in???

    it is really necessary for managers to have a overall view of task across the organization , all from one place!

    While the Phases third party app does the trick - I can't believe the functionality isn't in Podio itself.  And Jonas is correct, building an app to handle tasks isn't the answer because it would not have the same integration and functionality of built in tasks.

    Hi, I also cannot believe this is not already included in Podio, it's one of these standard MUST-HAVE features that any project management tool should have and that most already have indeed!

    @daniel Your Global task list tool sounds like a great help, but when I try it I oddly see all tasks except the ones assigned to me. Bug or feature?

    Has this been addressed yet???  10 years in the making - managers still need to be able to see if staff are up to date on tasks etc.  This is crucial functionality that all other platforms offer.
