Badge Display
CompletedIs there a way to change the summary that is displayed on the badge in the badge view layout? For instance, I have modified a contact app to include a photo for members. I would like the badge view to display thier photo and their name. Right now the badge displays their photo and their contact category (another field in the app). Can I change this?

Hey @Scott,
You can organize the columns in table view using the settings / save a view option or from organizing the columns in your app template? Please let me know via sara@podio.com and I will be happy to advise.

I'm amazed that such an useful request that should have been thought of in the first place is being ignored for 2 years!
Losing my faith in the podio ability to improve their app and already considering my options specially when I see alternatives like Basecamp being more responsive towards their users feedback. Wondering why I am committing my company to an app that doesn't show signs of being alive.

I mean, just compare: http://blog.podio.com/ VS https://basecamp.com/1810681/announcements

A customizable badge view would be a huge USP for Podio regarding agile project management.
There is only one real competitor out there, who has implemented badge-view in a really awesome way: www.trello.com Do you know them?
I don't know how Podio is structured but I suppose you work with some agile project management methods like sprint planning or Scrum, right? If there is a way to customize the Podio badge view, this would become a huge advantage for teams to get an insane overview about their tasks (Scrum stories, storypoints) This is even not possible in Trello except with this extension: www.scrumfortrello.com).
My idea is: simply adding 3 Dropdown fields to the small "view options" menu. If these fields are specified, then these 3 information will be shown on the badges, otherwise your other complex logic will come into effect (1. image, 2. date, 3. others). Is it possible to get connected to the developer-team working on badges to assist them with testing or inputs?
From the developer point-of-view, this feature can be finished within max. 10 hours (!!) of work: Just add these checkboxes to the small options menu and add an IF to the logic if they are specified). Lets start! :)

Hey guys,
A small update from our side:
We have this planned as a part of our current roadmap and we hope to be able to add improvements soon. It is a part of a larger project related to improving the App View :)
As you know, I can't promise a timeframe but we have it planned for this winter Q4 2014 - Q1 2015.
If you have inputs and feedback to help us build this you can reach me via sara@podio.com and I will connect you to our Product Manager Tina!
Thanks for your patience.
