Any update on this? It would allow us to more actively use labels without worrying about not being able to edit them.

No update, not something we have prioritized at this point. We have the feedback on our list but no plans yet.

You can simply delete the label, then create a new if you will like to edit it.

Here's my +1 for this feature as well. It seems like a simple thing to do and would help a lot.

**Another +1 ! **I will just give my scenario so that you'd understand why it would be handy:

I have 4 labels - 01.Active, 02.Standby, 03.Later, 04.Repeated. I gave my labels a number so that it would show in that order when sorting labels. Now I want to add another label 'Urgent' which I want to have at the top, so I would give it a prefix 01.

To do so, at this stage, I'd have to delete all the labels, re-add them again, and re-add the labels to all the 30 tasks, which is quite time consuming. Thanks for your consideration :)

+1 here, taxonomy is key to find content thus labels management is a must!

+1 I agree that this should be a higher priority. Any user defined item should be editable prior to it's release, and not considered a low priority. Let's work on the things that are in full production, and plan the other upcoming features after that. Thanks!

....also, having the ability to create labels that are children of a parent label would go a long way to helping everyone further organize their content. Suggestion: Drag ad drop would be a nice future feature for labels

I'm also looking for a feature that would allow to manage labels in podio; edit, update, etc...

Any news from Podio team about that issue?

It's pretty ridiculous that we can't rename labels.

It's tedious that if a label needs to be renamed, I have to create a new label and then change all of my labels on future and recurring tasks.

    Please add this functionality.

I'm so invested in labels that if I create a new one and simply delete it...I then will have to add it back to every task.

+1 to this. It's really a no-brainer, if you use labels than you have to be able to do some kind of label management. Having to create a new label and add it by hand in each task is just unacceptable.

I'll add another +1 to this. It's centrally important to my organization due to the fact that tasks are part of the core of Podio and have little ability to be filtered / organized relative to the rest of Podio.

1+ Prio as well. Yes, please, let us reaname task labels. It's essential for managing HUNDREDS of TASKS!! Tasks labels are vivid in project management and business daylife.

(If I delete a label and create a new one, I have to tag all tasks with the new one. That's silly, I cannot open hundreds of tasks just to tag them.)
