Podio Items not updating

I recently solved an issue where flows were updating the item they were triggered from, but the changes were not being displayed in the item unless a browser refresh was performed. The activity log showed the changes had been made and any calculation fields also reflected the change.

The issue was the "Modify App Settings -> Advanced -> Disable notifications for items created / edited / deleted for users that follow this app" setting. It appears the issue described arises if this setting is ticked. To have the Item update without a browser refresh make sure this setting is un-ticked

This issue occurred regardless of whether Podio Flows where being used or Globiflow Flows were being used.

Seems like a bug to me as the setting is simply about notifications.
