Unique Reference ID across apps

Hello,

I need to use the same unique ID across 3 different apps. Leads / Clients / Administration.

Although it looks very easy from the info you gave on the PDF (which seem outdated, as nothing works that way), I can't seem to be able to make it work and am now running it via globiflow, but it's not real time, and it's quite messy.

Basically, here is what I need:

1- when I create a Lead, an unique ID is created (ie. "c-234")
2- when my administration adds a similar record with financial info of the client in another workspace, I need to reference the same unique ID
3- when the lead becomes a client, it will do that automatically by copying the same records on a new app, so that's the easy part.

The issue lays in the second stage. The administration adds a new record by starting a new client sheet and selecting it from a menu (via a relationship record). When the company is selected, and the record added, the app should be able to gather the unique id from the other app, given that they are connected via that same relationship.

I have tried with the "[]All of Unique ID" and with many other feature like ".asString" and ".join()" but I always get some sort of error.

Could you please help me out finding my way out of this?

  You need a calculation field, e.g namend "Lead ID" in Leads: @unique ID
  Then in second app a calculation field with the same or another name (as you like it): @all of Lead ID.toString().
  Same in the third app.
