Can Gmail Emails Update Podio Items?
Hello! I am a CPA and use Podio as my CRM and Project management platform. I'm currently looking for a way to update a client's Podio item if they send me an email or if I send them an email.
For instance, if Client A sends me an email (or anyone on my team), I'd like for that email to be logged in Client A's Podio item. Additionally, I'd like that Podio item to update the "Last Contacted" date field so that we can track client communications and reach out to those we haven't heard from in a while.
I use Globiflow religiously, so if I need to incorporate Globiflow I'll be able to do so.
I also use Zapier but wasn't able to create a ZAP that does this.
Thoughts anyone?

If you have a "Clients" app, and an item for each client, the "Email to Item" functionality should be useful: https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/articles/201290603-Email-to-item

Just 2 steps...
1. As sown in above figure under your App click wrench icon & chose Email to App. It will create an forward address something like calorie-consumed.XXXX@xxx.podio.com
2. Now open your Gmail Create a Filter in Gmail for when you receive email from some particular email or with some particular Subject etc get it forwarded to calorie-consumed.XXXX@xxx.podio.com
