The maximum file size is 100 megabytes.
There is no storage limit (on either the free or Premium versions).
Listed below are the most common file types that can be uploaded:
- In an app, for an Image field: jpg, gif, png, bmp
- In an app, as a file attachment: The above file types plus mp4, mov, wmv, flv, swf, mp3, avi, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, pdf, txt, csv, odt, ods
- In conversations (messages/chats), comments, status post, tasks: all of the above file types.
Here's how to allow users to attach files to your app items - this is very useful if you are working on a project and want to make sure people can attach all of the files associated with that project.
On the front page (Activity) in each workspace, find the wrench icon above the workspace member list and choose "Workspace Files" in the dropdown to see an overview of the files in that specific workspace.
Here you can filter the files based on who added them, file type and much more.
